New Survivor Series: A PR Crisis in the Making?
Any thoughts about the new season of Survivor, which divides the contestants into four groups based on ethnic labels? Here's some commentary in the press (Washington Post, USA Today, and a German wire service).

I agree! I think this is a big mistake. It is definitely a way to create drama which will make people tune it because that is what we Americans love DRAMA. I do think it a mistake because racial issues is nothing to joke around with. Race is a very sensitive topic for many people and I feel uncomfortable becaue I know others will have a problem with it. I will not be tuning in!
There is in fact a lot of research that indicates that if you want to create an environment for good interracial relations you should make it noncompetitive and cooperative.
