Support Group for Black Women

I found a website for The Black Womens Support Group based in Cambridge, MA but works to promote and maintain the welfare of black women in Cambridge and surrounding communities. The group is run by local black women and is affiliated with Cambridge Ethnic Community Forum. Members attend meetings and receive newsletters outlining pertinent topics and a monthly calendar of events. The group offers advice, community outreach for disenfranchised families, employment help, education, counseling and case work services, and workshops on everything from cooking to HIV awareness. The website, also has a section highlighting black heroines throughout history. Checking out this website, it's amazing what a group of ordinary people can accomplish in terms of social services and support.

This is actually for a group in Cambridge ENGLAND! (Thus the Carribean theme). Global village indeed. (I fixed your link--make sure to preview).
